The Dalhousie Pre-Med Society(“DPMS,” “we,” “us”) is a student society at Dalhousie University, Halifax, NS. This page explains what information we collect through this website and how we use it.
Information we collect
This site does not require an account and does not track you with advertising cookies. If you email us or sign up for membership, we collect only the information you choose to share - typically your name, email address, and year of study - so we can keep you posted about events and society updates.
Website analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand how the site is used - things like page views, visit counts, referrers, and general location (country level). This data is anonymous and aggregated: it uses no cookies, does not identify individual visitors, and is never combined with any information you share with us.
How we use it
We use your contact details solely to run the society: event announcements, mentorship matching, and member communications. We do not sell or rent your information to anyone.
Your choices
You can ask us to update or delete your information at any time by emailing premed@dal.ca. You can unsubscribe from our mailing list whenever you like.
